6x6x2009

I'm gearing to send this painting off to 6x6x2009, a fundraising exhibit for Rochester Contemporary Arts Center in New York state. It's probably not the most career-building move I can make, but I'm happy to participate. All my "sketches" happen to be 6x6, the only criteria for participation. (People like to hear me describe them as sketches, but I consider every sketch or trial and error piece to be finished work). The photos from last year's exhibit look really impressive; it seems like the opening would be fun but unfortunately I wont be present.
