I finally scanned some new, small drawings I've been working on. I've always been interested in what seems unpracticed in art; hence my obsession with raw and outsider artists. I think this is why I favor abstract art and specifically imperfectness. I think you can see some of these elements in the new drawings, which I'm really happy with. I was very afraid they wouldn't scan well, because there are many very fine, barely-there pencil marks. Thankfully I found a setting on my scanner which could accommodate this! The only misrepresentation is that where you see pale yellow, it is actually fluorescent. Now that I know I can represent these well, don't be surprised if you see them more frequently, and hopefully also growing to a larger format. These were made in March.
