    I like the direction of these new series. Is this based off of and grew from the ice painting series?

    Yes, these are a bit more intricate & have more layers. It's funny how time between series will produce totally different results. I've also added new colors and different kinds of paint. These are a side project while I obsess over the larger work, where I'm melting ice to form the main shapes and focal points, then working back into it to highlight lines and edges that I find interesting.
