Name-Googling for Artists

I just found this blog entry on yourheartout.com by googling my name. I think every artist should google their name... if I didn't, I would have never known about at least half a dozen websites that featured my art. Virtually every blog feature in the "Honors and Features" section of my resume has been found using this method. So get googling!

As a side note, the yourheartout.com feature is eerily timed, because I'm moving soon and have just made a file on my computer for images to print as an inexpensive wall-collage-- the idea of this yourheartout blog entry. One thing I'm using that I don't see mentioned in this blog is children's art. I used to be a camp counselor so I have stacks of drawings that say "To: Kaylie From: (name)" but the one that made the cut is a picture of a camel approaching a pyramid with a rattlesnake in the background! It's on purple construction paper, no less. Nice!
