Congrats to me. I'll be exhibiting "Nurture" in New Jersey and Johannesburg, South Africa. Details about the show and my submission can be found here. The exhibition is part of the Printmaking Council of New Jersey, but will be part of the Somerville Arts Festival at 13 Division Street in Somerville, NJ from May 15-30. The opening reception at this location is May 15 from 4-8 PM. Then August 8 - October 3, the exhibition will be displayed at the Printmaking Council of New Jersey. The opening reception there is August 8 at 4 PM. Unfortunately I cannot attend either event. In October, the exhibition travels to Johannesburg. The day after I got this good news, I found that I didn't win any awards from the 2D department's open house event last Wednesday. I suppose it evens out? My first international exhibition is better than my name printed in an e-newsletter, right?
